Okay, so I really have to get better at this stuff! It's been crazy around here, between hubby being home for so long and getting the house ready to list and hopefully sell, it's just nuts. We went to the zoo a few times recently, and someday soon I'll get some pics posted of that. We're going to a wedding at the zoo in a few weeks, so I can't wait to take some photos there. I hope they'll let me, anyway! Then we're hopefully get to go to NYC for a long weekend! I definitely have to post some of those pics I take there! I'm trying to be in the market for a new digital SLR for photo purposes, then maybe we can do our own portraits instead of paying someone else to do them. We'd have them more frequently, anyway!

WHEW, What a month already!

So, Mark is changing jobs. Technically, his first day is Monday, but it's a consulting job, so it's all travel, and his first trip will be with someone else. Kind of an orientation, so to speak. Fun part is that the guy's on vacation next week, so Mark will do some phone work, but beyond that, he's home all week. Not bad to start a new job with a vacation! He had a
'forced" vacation last week, too, thanks to the old job and the IT world. So, we've been BUSY! We're getting the house ready to put on the market. We've painted a whole room, an accent wall, and below a chair rail that we've installed, gotten a new dining table and chairs set up, and done some general cleaning up around downstairs. We've set up a reading area in the loft, and reorganized the big boy's room and the playroom. Now we just have to finish the chair rail and install crown moulding, hang the rest of the pictures, paint the rest of downstairs, clean out some closets.....Not much, haha!
We also took time out to have family time, including going to the fair. That was fun, but not as much as I thought it would be, really. Cameron enjoyed some rides with daddy and alone, and Jacob was VERY patient with the whole ride. We watched some dogs do some diving, did a mini-farming experience where he fed chickens, gathered eggs, milked a cow, and took veggies to the market. I'll get some pics and video up soon, I have to download them.

Wow, so it's been almost a month since I posted the first time. I really meant to be better about this. I guess I'll get the hang of it soon enough, though. I'm going to try and figure out how to post a video now, since that's the latest I've got of the baby.
Cameron's last t-ball game and party were last night, and now he's really sad that it's over. One of the moms took a bunch of photos of the kids and made a DVD. I started watching it today, and hormonal as I am, I started to tear up. Then he walked in and started crying because he already misses his friends. I seem to have passed on that emotional nature to the poor guy.
Soon, we'll start traveling a lot, we hope, with Daddy's new consulting job, and we're going to try and keep this updated to keep family informed!

Starting Out!

Okay, so I'm totally new to this whole blog thing, so bear with me as I get myself in gear and get the hang of posting things..
I don't have much else to post at the moment but that I still can't believe Jacob is here and three weeks old already! Time flies so much faster than it did with Cameron! I'll be back soon, though, posting pics and videos to share with the world...
